Noice, me too. They are probably one of my fav go to movies when I just don't know what to watch and want to couch it for a while. I still haven't seen Ant Man and the Wasp yet...hope to still see it at the movies...but might miss out, as life can be so busy. I do like watching from home, PJ's and slippers just don't seem to be approved at the movie theatre 😀

You smuggle the PJ's and slippers into your bag and change in the theater.. You can also take a stuffed cat and some cat stench to really create the ambiance

Nice idea, I will have to test it out. Rather than a stuffed cat, I might bring my boy Toothless with me, he is pretty quiet and will sit still most of the time........

So on a different note, do you boys have any recommendations for a gaming laptop?

a cat themed onesy and you be dressed like most; cinemas have changed, reclining lounge seats, drink holders and alcohol; just wear a long coat and then use the coat like a blanket and it's just like home 🙂

Not that we needed proof BoZ is not from Earth.

I love the Marvel stuff. More of the same I say.

I have one of these..
https://www.tecs.com.au/catalog/product/view/id/3195/s/msi-gv62-7rd-1667au-15-6-i7-gaming-notebook-free-delivery-discount-code-msi-core-i7-7700hq-8gb-ddr4-32g-max-128gb-ssd-1tb-7200rpm-15-6-1920x1080-2gb-gtx-1050-backlit-kb-red-wifi-ac-bt-webcam-win10-2yr-wty-d5410gv/?gclid=CjwKCAjw14rbBRB3EiwAKeoG_8HQAumlzpqL_gbidfSpbT8m1zXrJ7VJsjIyrH3H_lpE2v7VjTjMChoCu9gQAvD_BwE

I bought it to play games on the boat. Sadly, it sucks power like there is no tomorrow.

This is the later version but it is very expensive.

They say the dell laptops are still good bang for buck.
Not sure if this one is a gaming pc but worth a watch. I'm at work so couldn't watch it.

I also like the surface pros. I have an older one. Not good for much. I use it for minecraft..
Has a great battery life and charges on a 12v cigarette lighter plug. Very good for the boat.

The surface pro's with the I7's are meant to be good but expensive.

Haha brim sounds great!!!

Thanks Deej I will look into those, or employ some of my kids to research them for me...they are pretty cluey. It really is just for GW2 as that is all I play these days. Saw Emtea logged in the other day but we didn't get to chat as he was afk. I highjack my kids pc from time to time.

A laptop is the most expensive way to get a computer. For close to half the bucks, you can build a PC with the same specs.
Laptops are OK, but really don't play well as gaming machines. Heat is the biggest issue. So my laptop with a m970 plays most games but the battery life is around 30 minutes and the GPU throttles down with heat and power consumption.
On power it is all good but the fan noise is unbearable.

It is well worth researching but from experience, laptop gaming even on an older game with smaller demands is not really a smooth or easy as you would think. If you have a spare monitor, keyboard , mouse, case, power supply, purchasing the insides of a pc may be better value.

If you need a laptop due to space factor, well, that''s a whole different kettle of cats! :/

If I had the energy to find a photo of an un...bear...able person and then figure out how to load it....I would.
For now just imagine I did it.

Space is a bit of a premium here, with 4 desktops already occupying the family room. I do have a laptop with a dedicated graphics card that will play GW2, but you are right Deej, it gets super hot and I have to plug it in to play as it drains so fast. I like the look of Predator laptops as they look mean and have cool backlit keys, but they are a bit overpriced for what they are. The Alienware lappys also look really cool but again you are paying for it.

But

My laptop has now been put on hold as David needs root canal treatment...ouchie!!$$$$$!!!

Hi,
Im PoTsY - lol
how funny was BoZ on the big screen - that groan was spectacular!!!
Anyway I brought FarCry5 and tried to get into playing multi player but kept getting kicked cause of crap pings.
Thought I'd pop in and see if anyone else has the same problems when I came across this post.
Good to see everyone is still alive and well.
I got an 8 year old daughter now and 5 year old boy. I been letting him try FarCry5 to get his hand eye co-ordination skills happening. Hes catching on real fast (he stays in the safe zones where theres no baddies to kill)
Anyone playing FarCry 5?

g'day Potsy, saw you on steam. me and DJ have been playing FC5 we usually try and have a session on Sunday arvo's from about 3pm, good fun.
I've finished the campaign so I play as DJ's sidekick as we get him through the campaign; coop can be a tad tricky as the host is the main character/protagonist and the sidekicks don't get the progress saved to their campaign.
I also played the 2 dlc and I get the weapons from that as part of my campaign inventory which is pretty good.
we haven't tried coop mp yet but it does look good as their are plenty of campaign style maps to play which have their own AI.

you can add me (brimlad) and (DJ-.) on uplay if you like 🙂

Hi Pots. Great to see you.

I haven't played mp yet. Still as Brim said, playing the campaign.
As Brim lad said, we play Sunday arvo's. We are on TS from around 2pm.
Brim doesn't say anything worthwhile till 5pm.
Co Op is fun. I'm often a bit surprised the bad guys aren't more shocked when Brimlad fires his PEW PEW lazer gun.

Will have to look into how the MP works. I'm up for a game.

PS, you have missed "or not depending on your point of view" the FC1 nights.

mp is good it has a coop version where you play as a team v AI and a range of maps to tackle and there is regular mp but that has the old lobby system of FC2 so it can take a while to get into a match but worth a try given the game has some good mechanics and weapons.
