Hi Everyone,

It has been some time since I chatted with some of you and I am thinking it would be great to hear from you and what is happening in your world. Anyone want to update this squeaker?

*Hugs*

Hi Mousey.. Well... so very much.. 🙂

I just got off the boat. We have a heat wave in Sydney this weekend so was out eating nice food and swimming in the port hacking river.
We took the cruiser and the House boat and had some good friends stay out with us.

The water was not exactly warm but still great for a swim.

Besides that, as you know, I've been working on the website. For some reason, for a change, I seem to have fixed more than I broke.

I did a mass mail out. Some people got it. It went to a lot of peoples spam I believe.
I will do one from my personal and see how that goes.

Game wise, we are playing some 7 days to die on a server TD and Base are running.
They have the NBN on and it is great for servers.
If we had had that in the old FC days, we would have had a ball.

My eldest daughter Annalise got married and my youngest Tammy got Pregnant.
She is due in October. I'm still shocked and stunned.

Besides that, I've been trying to get some of the old guys back for some games.. Not to much luck yet. I will keep working on it. Over to the other guys now. Also, tell us what you've been up too. And is there any chance we can get you on for a game one day for fun..

Hi LM great to hear from you; I'm enjoying retirement I spend half the summer at Long beach sailing my Nacra 15 around
batemans bay which is great fun, fast boat and fast enough to out run the sharks oh and some fishing not for sharks mainly flathead off the beach.
otherwise I'm home cooking, cleaning, mowing, gardening, paying bills, shopping, renovating the usual stuff that a house husband does... all good fun. and some cycling on my mtb in autumn and winter
and some gaming but not as much as use to, mainly flying sims such as DCS and Xplane11 and some snow sports and I do intend to get farcry 5 just because I should 🙂

Thanks guys, nice to hear about your worlds.

DJ you sound like it has been a blast, chilling on the water, funny while you had a heat wave last weekend, we were being blown off our feet here on the coast. Congratulations on the wedding, exciting times! Annalise all married, wow 🙂 How is Tammy fairing? Such a life changing event for her and you guys.

Me? I gave up my computer a few years back, although I replaced it with a laptop and just had to make sure it had a dedicated graphics card just in case. Seems like the only thing I dabble in these days is Guildwars 2 from time to time.

Brimlad, sounds like you have captured the very best in life! I am glad you are keeping away from the sharks 🙂 So are you sure you are sailing a Nacra 15 and not your usual pirate ship? Are they really up to Farcry 5? Have any of them ever delivered anything like the fun we had in the original? I remember we had Farcry 2 here, but don't really remember playing it much. BTW flathead is one of my favourite eating fish, so catch heaps 🙂 I am feeling hungry.

Life for me? I changed jobs 4 years ago and now am the database administrator for an independent school. It is a lot of fun and a lot of work, I love it but it makes me very tired, I don't do well with travelling there and back...lol Jules has recently joined me at the school, driving our buses and helping with the properties department. David finishes year 12 this year and is a Sergeant in the Australian Army Cadets, Amy is still a dedicated gamer and artist, Steph the same, but the gaming isn't as strong in this one, Jess has been suffering from Chronic Fatigue the last few years which put a huge hold on her life and has meant she can no longer travel like she was.

Other than that, I am still snorkelling through the summer, have started watching the heavens through my telescope and the usual mum stuff. We are painting our house in preparation to put it on the market and possibly move closer to town/work(school)/church/friends etc. I think that is it 🙂

you sound very busy LM and great that Jules is working with you that would help with the travel and can understand moving closer to work makes a difference in the time that you have. so private Anderson is a sergeant that doesn't surprise me and year 12 is always a great year that final step to adulthood.
Friends of ours daughter also has CF, she finished uni started work and 6 months in diagnosed with CF; no fun there but it is better understood today.
good to see a couple of dedicated gamers still in the household, finding time for gaming as you get older is definitely a challenge.
sky watching is great fun as is snorkelling; we had our cousins over London for xmas this year and I grabbed a virtual R app for the phone that shows the solar system in VR it's very cool and impressed the visitors no end. the app is free but the viewer is $20, worth every cent and they plan to roll out more science stuff for the app this year.
https://www.scivr.com.au/

we do plan to buy a bigger pirate ship but I need to teach the family how to sail before we upsize and the nacra is perfect for the task, great boat to sail.
yes FC5 is where we're at, just pre-loaded today for launch day tomorrow. the last 2 weren't that great (FC2 was good) so hoping that 5 is exceptional, it has planes so that ticks one of my boxes.
and flathead are great to eat and catch and there are few retired blokes that head down to the beach after dinner for a beer and a fish so it's a great catch up and chat time; gentle surf great sunset and the chance of a nibble very pleasant at long beach.

It's definitely a tough gig, beer, tranquillity, good conversation and suddenly it's on you got a screamer and you have to reel her in 😀

my 2 alveys, best reel for the beach; the bottom one has 2 spools of differing line weight and the top has translucent line perfect for night fishing; I'd show you my rod but that's getting rather personal 🙂

Ahhh but you are correct as well brim, so no apology necessary. David still plays as PvtAnderson with some numbers after his name, well remembered!!

Ahhh fishing is so relaxing, most of the time 🙂 We used to fish for eels in the river at night, that was not really relaxing, they bite like crazy.

Jess brought the full water housing for her Canon 70D, and we were looking forward to putting that through it's paces this summer, but maybe she will be well enough next summer instead. The water is getting quite cold already now, brain freeze cold.

Here is piccy of one of my fav diving spots - The Ozone Wreck on the Bellarine Peninsula.

Hope I did the url thing right 🙂

Happy Easter 🙂 x

He's good thanks.

But he's still anti-social.
I think its from being dropped on his head so many times.

He really has.

Have you heard of the butterfly effect?

Well it has nuff'n on the BoZeRfLy effect. The stuff that guy has destroyed by plopp'n on his Nogg'n!
